During the Christmas Holiday we made plates of yummy treats to deliver to friends. Jacob and Ben were really good at dipping Oreo cookies into melted chocolate. It was a very fun activity!!

In December 2010, Jeremy took a trip to Utah to visit Josh and Chelsea. And while he was there he decided that our family was missing something...........

He brought back not 1 but 2 puppies......

Duke is the yellow lab and Saddie is the brown lab, I'm not sure if I'am ready to have dogs again?

OUR GARDEN

The weather in California has been amazing this winter, it's been more like a cold spring. We put in a winter garden, and this past week end these are a few things we picked. I didn't get pictures of the spinach, lettuce or grapefruit that I picked..... It's all been so yummy to eat. Thanks to Farmer John for our great winter garden. We are also getting a dozen eggs a day right now. Thats Country Living at it's finest!!! Beets

So I've started again to do some major stock piling on the cheap with coupons, It's not like the show EXTREM COUPONING.... It's a little harder to do that here in California, but I have gotten some really good deals and the cupboards are getting full again!! This Purchase was $3.00
and this purchase was under $1400

My goal this year is to continue doing extrem couponing and get to were I'm saving even more money on products and we have a nice stock pile on the shelves!!

ELDER JEREMY CHANDLER

Christmas was a little weird at our house this year!! Our only child that was home, was Jacob.

I'm not liking my children growing up and leaving home!! I'm not liking that they go to school out of state and live 12 hrs. or more away......... But it was very fun to skyp with Jeremy this christmas. That was so much better than just a phone call. we got to skyp for about 45 min. I had a hard time getting it all set up, and poor Jeremy keep trying to skyp us and than emailing Josh, and than when I did get it all figured out, I had to reschedule times so John could be there. I was trying to add other family members in, but ever time I did this it dropped Jeremy. Finally I just had everyone on conference calls. I'm hoping by mother's day we have this all worked out!! Jeremy is doing GREAT!! He is loving life in Brazil and working with the people there!! He has become a very deep thinking young man........ we love and miss him!! And are very proud of the great work and sacrifice he is making!! WE LOVE YOU JEREMY !!
